BEATRIX POTTER BROCHURE
This Beatrix Potter brochure was interactively designed with the intent to attract both the younger children and the collector. It aims to educate the reader on the life of Beatrix Potter and the inspiration that she found in real life animals, more often than not-her pets. The brochure focuses on the story behind the story, bringing the characters to life through ther beautiful illustrations completed by Beatrix Potter, herself. From still life sketches of her real characters to collectable postage stamps and perforated gift tags, this brochure should have the reader only looking for more.
The colour and style is centred around the essense of the Beatrix Potter brand, using the extremely recognizable blue from none other than Peter Rabbit, the character from her very first tale, and a soft, velvet-like paper for the cover, in order to enhance the soft, tactile mood of the Tales of Beatrix Potter.
This work was created as a design solution for a second year student brief.
