A newspaper spread on student spending at Hochschule Augsburg, Germany. The data was collected from students who are local to the school, and ones studying there as part of Erasmus.

The first spread shows the income of an average student, and where that money goes.

The second page shows the tuition fees of different countries in Europe, collected from the Erasmus students. The lower map shows the average income for students, depicting financial support from parents, the government and the Erasmus grant they receive when studying abroad.

I worked in a team with Alice Letherbarrow to collect the data and create this piece. We were also interviewed and an article was written about our project in the Augsburg Allgemeine, the newspaper we had fictitiously designed the data visualisation spreads for.
