This is a collection of some of my cherished childhood memories that I illustrated as part of an online week-long illustration challenge, created by the amazing artist Beatrice Blue.
| Nothing beats mama’s baking, especially her fresh cherry and apple pies that she used to make when we were kids 🥧
| My brother and I used to go on lots of adventures at home. One of the most important ones was the mission to retrieve the hidden leftover sambosas without our parents knowing!
 | I’ve always loved animals. We’ve had lots of pets growing up and I just always liked being around them. But, I had this phase where I was ABSOLUTELY convinced that I had the power to read their minds and speak to them. Goats, specifically. Sometimes birds, too. They never got my jokes, though - think they might’ve gotten lost in translation..

| Whenever we’d bunk together when we were young, my brother, cousins and I would make a pact to never let anyone enter our room without telling us the secret password. 🤫
| “Teamwork makes the dream [fort].” Especially when you’ve got a team leader who gives orders and expects to hear a “yes, sir!” back with a salute. 🤷🏻‍♀️
| The best part about watching هزيم الرعد (Thunder Jet) was getting to sing along to the theme song ⚡️
