A concept for an electric door planer created for a student project. The concept does away with difficult to clean dust bags and instead uses a built-in chip bin. The design also features a fold-out front grip and tail latch that helps prevent the tool from flying off when placed on a surface while the blade is still moving. The concept was modeled in SolidWorks and rendered in Keyshot.
