Thumbnail ideas for the concept of the Movie Poster. I wanted to depict the mysterious essence of the story and include the enigmatic figure of the hound and Baskerville Manor alongside the main protagonist, Sherlock Holmes, and his sidekick John Watson.
Here is the process of creation. From the previous ideas, I ended up selecting the concept featuring Sherlock Holmes as the center of attention, while keeping the other main subjects of the story (the hound and the Baskerville Manor) clouded in mystery, with a mostly cold color palette to reinforce the genre of the source material. I wanted to portray a younger version of Sherlock.
