Salem Sabres 2014 Jersey Design
I was tasked with designing new and upgraded jerseys for the Salem Sabres, a semi-professional basketball summer league basketball team, for the 2014 season. With the new sublimation printing process that the team now has access to, I was able to design a unique jersey that will be different from other teams in the area and league.
From a marketing stand point, the team is pushing toward taking in the home team stand to really become Salem's home team. Salem, being the capitol of the state of Oregon, holds the iconic capitol building. I took an image of the building, the goldman that sits on top of the building, and the marble texture that are found on all of the federal buildings.
