Československo
A poster made for my sister (CZE) and her boyfriend (SK) to make their kitchen cosier.
Czechoslovakia split into 2 countries (Czechia and Slovakia) in 1993 but as we share the same roots Czech people love Slovaks and vice versa. Czech and Slovak Republic also have very strong base in folk art that still persists in various regions. I tried to trace this and color the map according to regional folk art but found out that it differs very much so I kept it simple and chose Valachian traditional blue folk art symbols with more colorful Slovak ones!
