This is a transition booklet designed for SEND children to support them as they move onto the next stage of their education. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the relationships between student and teacher were suddenly interrupted. This booklet has been designed to bridge the gap between student and teacher and encourage new relationships.

In terms of the design for this project, I wanted it to feel new yet comfortable for the child. Keeping the colour scheme to a minimum is meant to not overwhelm an already nervous individual. However, by including fun doodle style elements, it becomes more relatable and familiar. I wanted this transition booklet to act like a diary, where the child can fill out sections about themselves in confidence. This also enables the teachers to better understand the student.
