Inspired to look into such a simple, everyday necessity to artists, I created a booklet exploring the significance, origins, and functions of paper. Just as we take paper for granted, using it without a second thought, I wanted my illustrations to feel like a casual doodle, or drawing, something anyone might make in the margins of their paper while also maintaining a subtly designed presentation of information.
