Amnesty International / Child Poverty in New Zealand

Billboards

These billboards were part of my campaign strategy to target parents with young children and make them aware of how different the lives of many New Zealand children living in poverty are. The aim was to take everyday childhood activities that these parents would relate to doing with their own children and show a different view; what these activities mean to children who don't get to have the childhood they deserve.
Ads

These ads were intended for the same purpose as the billboards. I created one for my female target market (mothers), and one for my male target market (fathers).
Booklet

This booklet was designed to make my main target group (mothers) aware of the reality of child poverty in New Zealand. It needed to convey facts and statistics, but I particularly wanted them to relate to it and understand the issue on an emotional level. To do this I used photos of kids, stories and quotes from children about what living in poverty means to them.
