Maine Office of Tourism
2010 Campaign
(Print: Art Direction; TV: Art & Music Direction)

Built around the theme, There’s More to Maine, the integrated, multi-media campaign included national print advertising, television, and online marketing. Multiple images of Maine helped expand the image of Maine as a unique, authentic destination with an extraordinary variety of activities for all ages and interests.
The Summer 2009 TV ad featured the perfect song - Sly and the Family Stone's "Hot Fun in the Summertime." The TV spot won a coveted Platinum Adrian Award for Advertising Excellence from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) in the 53rd annual Adrian Awards Competition, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.
The 2010 print campaign for the Maine Office of Tourism took the form of a series of double-truck half-page spreads. Large photographs commanded the left hand page, crossing the gutter, while a series of smaller supporting photographs reinforced both Maine's icons as well as its variety of fun and exciting things for visitors to do here. Each ad featured a calendar of highlight events tailored towards the season and reader demographic. Media placements included DownEast Magazine, Yankee Magazine, Audobon Magazine, The New York Times Magazine and The Boston Globe.
