This project was drafted under CreativeDrive for their client Garden Of Life / My Kind Gummies. It is a project inspired by a young girl named Lydia, who shared her love of MyKind Gummies in a great letter. In collaboration with the My Kind team, we took those words to heart and animated this small piece for social media.  

I created a few character ideas and a color sample. The team selected one of our character styles and provided their color palette requests. They wanted the colors to feel like a watercolor wash, more transparent, and for the lines to be thinner. That was the ultimate approach in moving forward.

The original hope was to show Lydia writing this letter to MyKind. I suggested that we let the words and gummies intertwine into a fun space to bring the focus to some of the key messages. The gummies moved in and around supers and back to Lydia to end the letter. I drafted this storyboard originally as a black and white draft, this sample below was the revised storyboard showing final scene breakdown and color.
