The concept for my book is inspired by the 60s/70s and my goal was to create a groovy aesthetic with my own personal touch. The typeface Univers Next, created by Adrian Frutiger, was used during the 60s/70s. I referenced The Beatles and Woodstock throughout the book. I decided on a colorful, but cohesive color palette and used my own illustrations throughout. I wanted each page to be visually interesting and different, yet still have all the spreads flow together nicely. I used Adobe InDesign to put the book together and used Adobe Illustrator for my illustrations.
