lq notebook is a brand of handmade notebooks which are distinctive for their production and functional structures. To indicate these two main features, we were commissioned to use line arts to highlight its unique charm. In the early stages of design, we expected these line arts to be instructions and only appear in the product’s manual. But because they match lq notebook products very well, the line arts eventually become the brand’s main graphic image.
