Hurricane Harvey landed in the Coastal Bend in the Fall of 2017. In the following year of the Summer of 2018 the La Retama Library in Corpus Christi, the Nueces County Historical Commission and the Corpus Christi Library are hosting a Hurricane Harvey Reception, showcasing over 100 pieces of narrative art, featuring our students from the Coastal Bend school districts and Graphic Design students from TAMU–CC.

My poster is designed to provide hope that a higher power or the entire community together is strong enough to lift the Coastal Bend out of the stormy waters and into the sun or the future.
