RABMAN
İnsanoğlu olarak zamanı çizgisel bir düzlemde algılayabildiğimiz için, doğanın hakikatinden kopuşumuz çağımızın tutsağı olmamıza yol açmakta ve ait olduğumuz zamanın ötesinde düşünmemizi, görmemizi engellemekte, bizleri bencilleştirmektedir. İlerleme adı altında aldığımız tüm yollar bizi özümüzden uzaklaştırmakta ve kendimize yabancılaştırmaktadır.
Bu fotoğraf serisinde; çoğu zaman görmezden gelerek varlığını yok saydığımız doğanın yok oluşunu ve kendi ürettiğimiz distopyayı bize gösterecek hibrit ve androjen bir karakter olan Rabman’ı takip ediyoruz. Hunharca üreyen ve kendini her şeyden üstün gören insan türünün tüketim esaslı yaşayışının neticesinde, bilim kurgu filmlerine sıklıkla konu olan karşı ütopyaya çok da uzak olmadığımızı görüyor, yaşadığımız gezegenin dönüştürdüğümüz haliyle yüzleşiyoruz.
RABMAN
As human beings, because we are able to perceive time as being linear , our detachment from the truth of nature causes us to be the prisoner of our age and prevents us from thinking and seeing beyond our own time and making us selfish. All the paths we take under the name of progress take us away from ourselves and alienate ourselves.
In this photo series; we often follow Rabman, a hybrid and androgenic character who will show us that we ignore the existence of the nature and the dystopia we produce. As a result of the consumption-based life of the human species, which reproduces themselves sharply and considers itself superior to everything else, we see that we are not far from the counter-utopia that is often the subject of science fiction films, and we face the transformed state of the planet we live in.
