Roam - Magazine for the free-spirited travellers
We were assigned to create a 32-page publication on Malacca, Malaysia, a place we visited on our learning journey.
This assignment tested us on our layout skills, to make use of both photography and text to form a spread, at the same time taking note of visual hierarchy. This assignment also tested us on our consistency, to be able to achieve a constant style throughout the magazine to make it look whole.
This was what I came up with. I used a lot of black & whites as well as warm colour schemes as I wanted to bring out the nostalgic essence of this historically and culturally rich city. All pictures on this publication were taken by myself.
Thank you for viewing!
