Soon after a lockdown in Manila was implemented, I was contacted by a fellow member of the Philippine Native Tree Enthusiasts, a Facebook group dedicated to advocating the planting of indigenous tree species due to their ecological benefits.

The group's founder Ms. Cel Tungol wanted to raise funds for frontliners working in hospitals in Metro Manila, while supporting a tree planting site in the Sierra Madre.

The grassroots campaign was able to raise enough funds to get 100 pieces of personal protective equipment soon after it was launched.

During some downtime sometime later, I polished up the initial artwork and added some color to spread word further in my social media accounts.
