Frutiger Type Specimen Book
Frutiger was developed to be used for way finding materials in a French airport. It's designed for legibility in motion from every angle. For this type specimen booklet I chose to depict the idea of “legibility in motion” in a more abstract way.
I took inspiration from David Carson and Raygun Magazine to portray the idea of legibility in motion. By incorporating energetic, overlapping type and destructive textures, the booklet has a sort of chaotic order. This chaos was created to be reminiscent of the hustle and bustle of an airport while insuring that the important information is still easily readable.
