2014

Henry&co. was and still is heavily involved in the research of ecological material and new processes. CANAPALITHOS was the first interesting material that we discovered, and as
soon as we saw it, we loved it at first sight.
So we started a collaboration with C.M.F. Greentech and Rocking Horse was the first project that we did together. The aim of this project was to show a new use of this amazing ecological material, just used in green architecture at the time. Henry&co. decided to design a rocking horse for children due to the material features, safe and natural.
LivingHemp was the first important project that testifies Henry&co's mission to work with sustainable materials. The challenge was to use the prototype of an innovative material (now in production) based on hemp, without formaldehyde and petroleum derivatives. To transmit a stronger message we chose to design a toy aimed to raise awareness in the world of parents and children's.
Rocking Horse is completely made of joints, without any use of glues or screws, aimed to keep its green value pure. After the Milan Design Week in 2014 this project  had been particularly successful, media and magazines were talking about it. The result was a stronger collaboration that was born between C.M.F. Greentech and Henry&co.
