BUBBLE-GUM
DATE OF CREATION: April 2019
Designers: Luca Constanzo, Amber Holtrop, George Wills, Katja Veļkina

Bubble-Gum is a 2.5D platformer where you can freely change between a sticky-gluey form or inflate this form for a limited amount of time and become a floating bubble made of gum. Using both of these states, you go through levels, picking up collectibles, while avoiding enemies and obstacles. As you quickly progress through the game, you have to make correct decisions, but don’t take it too slow, because you have to complete the levels within a given time limit!
This game is a project I did while studying at Breda University of Applied Sciences, with a team of 3 other designers.
In the span of 8 weeks we were asked to design a 2D platformer centred around 4 pillars (one for each person).
I was in charge of the moving platform pillar and thus blueprinted much of the level assets in the game (moving platforms, moving hazards, rotating platforms, vanishing platforms).
Each of us was responsible for 1 level. I was in charge of the moving platform level (level 2).
