As a full-time lead proofreader on the agency side, I’ve focused on the specialized healthcare marketing field, helping carry out campaigns and ensure brand standards for hospitals and multinational healthcare companies. Working closely with clients and my small creative team, I’ve been more hands-on than most proofreaders. My role is often more like an editor, as I write, copyedit, coordinate on accounts, and am familiar enough with clients and their brands to get important questions answered. I’m used to working with a dozen brand guidelines at a time and have helped developed company style guides.
