This yuzen scarf (resisted and hand painted) was inspired from the famous
'Great Wave of Kanagawa'.

The surface of the ocean is stormy and wrathful as the Tsunami hits the shore and devastates it, but ironically, the ocean bed does is spared of that wrath. The wave hits, proving catastrophic to the life on the shore whereas the flora and fauna on the ocean bed remain blissfully unaware.

This art piece is a personification of that irony.
