The Solution
The Chinese saw paper making as such a valuable skill that they kept it a secret for 600 years – The result of this proposition was a hand made paper lantern, which included illustrations cut out of paper using a technique widely used in China. The idea of the lantern was to bring this fact to “light” and reveal the techniques behind early Chinese paper making.
