Indra Jatra
Indra Jatra(festival) is one of the biggest religious festival in Nepal. Also, called Yenya by the local newars, "Ye" means Kathmandu and "Ya" means celebration, together means celebration in Kathmandu. This jatra is also called Kumari Jatra, since the chariot of living goddess Kumari is carcade along with lord Ganesh and Bhairav. Indra Jatra is marked by masked dances of deities (god) and demons where Lakhe and Pulukisi are the famous dance performed during this festival.

Pulu Kisi
The famous elephant dance performed during Indra Jatra. It is believed that Pulu Kisi is the carrier of Lord Indra himself. 
Majipa Lakhe
Majipa Lakhey
The demon dance of Majipa Lakhey is performed on the streets of Kathmandu during the festival.
