The aim of this project was to create an immersive soundscape. The intention was not to create a realistic imitation, but an abstract representation of the jungle that may be a representation of many things. It is how encounters, interactions and events in the jungle might be perceived as sound by the subject of the experience (perhaps the jungle itself as a whole) rather than a microphone.​​​​​​​

This was a project done for the Sound and Image course taught by Selçuk Artut at Sabanci University. All sounds except the background noise (insects), some pads and percussive instruments were recorded in a studio environments using human vocals, a bird flute and a dan moi jaw harp.​​​​​​​
