이산가족(Separated families)

한반도에는 남북분단으로 헤어져 떨어져 살아온지도 벌써 반백년이 넘는 이산가족이 있다. 

가족을 추억하며 산 날이 길어진 만큼 만나야 될 사람들과 시간이 점점 줄어들고 있다. 

새해부터 정부는 남북교류 활성화 조치의 하나로 북한 당국이 발행한 비자만 있어도 중국 등 제3국을 통한 북한 관광을 허용하는 방안을 검토중이라는 반가운 소식이 들려왔다.

그중에서도  '이산가족 고향 방문' 등이 최우선 추진사업으로 첫발을 내민다고하는데

이산가족들이 얼마 남지 않은 시간 추억하며 지내기보다 직접 만나 얼굴을 마주 볼 날이

하루 빨리라도 이루어졌으면 한다.

On the Korean peninsula, there have been more than half a century of separated families who have been separated from the North and South.

As the days of living in remembrance of families are long, people and time to meet are decreasing.

Since the new year, there has been good news that the government is considering allowing North Korea to travel through third countries, such as China, with a visa issued by the North Korean authorities as part of the inter-Korean exchange.

Among them, 'visiting separated family hometown' is the first priority project.

It's a day when separated family members will meet and face each other

I hope it will happen as soon as possible.
