귀향길( The way back home )

올 설날에도 고향으로 내려가는 기차표를 구할 수가 없었다. 코레일 홈페이지에 들어가자마자 표는 이미 매진이다. 아이돌 콘서트 티켓 구하기도 이보다는 쉬울 거다… 하는 수 없이 버스를 타고 머나먼 길을 가야 하는데 어두운 고속도로 위로 빨간 개미 떼처럼 줄을 지어 가는 차들 속에 갇혀있을 생각만 해도 눈앞이 아득해진다. 그래도 저 힘든 길을 가야 한다.
저 산 너머에는 뭐가 있길래 이렇게 먼 길을 가야 할까? 그리고 저 북녘 땅으로도 그 힘든 길을 왜 가려고 하는 걸까? 내가 나고 자란곳이자 내가 사랑하는 가족들이 기다리는 곳이라면
힘든 길이라도 가야 하는거다. 올해는 북쪽으로도 줄 지어진 빨간 개미떼들을 보고싶다.
I couldn't get a train ticket down to my hometown this year. Tickets are already sold out as soon as they enter the KORAIL website. It would be easier to get tickets for an idol concert.
I have to take a bus and go a long way, but it's hard to think of being stuck in a row of red ants on a dark highway. But I have to go that hard way.
What's beyond that mountain, so should we go so long? And why do you want to go the hard way to that northern land? Where I grew up and where my beloved family awaits
You have to go even the hardest way. This year, I would like to see a group of red ants lined up to the north.
