Cygnus atratus (common name: black swan) is an aquatic bird, of the Anatidae family.
It's Australian, so here in Italy where I photographed this couple it's an alien species.
This couple has successfully reproduced at least once, giving birth to two little swans.
Curiosity: it's not completely black, but its feathers under the wings are white, however they are observable only during the flight.
