ATypI London is taking place at St Bride Library in London next year. ATypI members are an unusually astute audience. They care a great deal about type, typography, design and all aspects of book production. They are typically ‘movers and shakers’ in the type and design community, and have paid a hefty conference fee to get together in another country for three or four days of design-related talks and networking with colleagues. Your handbook needs to be their ‘friend’ during the conference. It needs to look good, feel good, and most importantly, work in terms of accessing the information conference goers will need throughout the four or five days of the conference, ie. what happens where and when. Additionally, many of the conference goers will want to keep the book as a souvenir of the talks, and the London ‘Type Walk’ on the last day of the conference.
