Darren Gallery / Identity
—
Darren Gallery, formerly known as Gallery on Wade (GOW) was founded in 2014 out of desire for exhibition of Canadian contemporary art to an international audience. Darren Gallery supports mid-career and emerging artists through ongoing exhibitions at Toronto gallery. Precisely, for the reason to distinguish Darren gallery on the contemporary art scene was developed a new brand identity system. The system is based on censorship black stripe as the defining metaphor of contemporary art. As we know as provocative manner of explanation of contemporary artists’ ideas are very often on the edge of the censorship. The simplicity and flexibility of the symbol provide a lot of opportunity to create a visual communications for Darren Gallery needs.
The visual identity is gradually being implemented.
