The project was to design and fabricate an All-Terrain Vehicle from scratch for the National SAE Baja competition and the Enduro Student India competition. Working with the team to design, simulate and analyse every minute detail from pipe joints to the A-arms using software, I couldn’t help but feel that my inquisitive nature had come a long way since my childhood. As part of the braking and suspension sub team within the ATV team, I was directly exposed to understand how vehicle dynamics worked in reality, solidifying my theoretical knowledge with all the practicality it could need.
