Maverick magazine was my concept for a millennial generation magazine, to be filled with content for people on the edge of independence. I wanted to create something that would speak to the needs of a generation that was often unprepared for life as they know it because of changes in the economy after their parent’s generation. The project helped me to get more accustomed to working with a grid, and helped me see what text heavy and picture heavy documents might look like with a consistent visual system applied to it.
