A year ago my beautiful chocolate Labrador passed at the age of 14! The same day i moved across the world from the UK to Canada, it was a big week. A few weeks later my mum told me she had got a new dog, a black labrador puppy (Loki) who was to fill the void in her house. Loki used my old girls toys and bed as his safe place (we assume as he could still smell her and felt comforted). I didn't know how i felt about this, a new dog in her house using her things, i had never met this newcomer to the house and he was already taking over and making himself at home.
Over the months i got updates on how he was growing and his puppy classes, and also how he was allowed to do the majority of what Holly was never allowed to do eg. sit on the sofa and allowed to go upstairs, the puppy had my mother wrapped around his little finger and so when i decided to visit home i was ready to dislike this dog, ready to not bond with him but within a day i had already given in... i became his pillow, his toy, his play friend and his breakfast buddy. Within a few days i fell in love with puppy Loki and could see how well he fit in.

So while i was visiting home i decided i would take some photos of him for my mum, some that she can cherish like ones i had of my old girl through the years and still cherish.
So this is Loki
