ILLUSTRATIONS OF ADDICTION
Yesilay is a public service institution that struggles with habits like smoking, alcoholic beverages and other drugs for the people and especially for the protection of young people.
There are numerous benefits that technology brings to human life. However, losing control over the use of technology and unrestricted use of technology can cause serious harms. Internet and technology addiction is defined as a situation that deprivation occurs when one cannot reach the technological product to which he or she is dependent.
So I have created awareness about technology addiction by creating designs about the impact of this situation.
I have dealt with technology addiction based on the chain metaphor. I designed smartphone icons as chain rings. I broked the chain by sayig be independent.
I narrated the technology, alcohol, smoking addiction and obsession about like numbers of our posts by using social media and alcohol icons in the illustration.
Smartphone addiction is as important as drug addiction. So I have created a design to highlight this issue by combining syringe and smartphone icons.
