Pace - The CPR Aid

'It is far better to do something than to do nothing at all if you are fearful that your knowledge or abilities aren't 100% complete.'
Force sensor is tested to simulate the technology Pace is using. The acting force is proportional to the reflected value. The reflected value would determine the LED light colour shown on Pace.
Chest Compression

Pressure and Technique differs depending on rescuer's skill level and victim's age.
Rescuer compresses the chest till a green light is shown, he/she repeats the compression as shown in the animation.
UI

Pace’s system consists of a mobile phone docked with the glove. It contains a mobile application which guides the rescuer to perform the CPR procedure intuitively and seamlessly at ease.
Workflow

Rescuers are given 2 options upon using the application.
- To call the paramedics
- Proceed with CPR Guide

As it is paramount that the paramedics are called first, rescuers will be prompted with the CPR Guide only if criteria is met.

CPR skill level will be chosen according to rescuer’s experience.
The CPR procedure would be modified accordingly to the rescuer’s skill level and victim’s profile.

After-which, the rescuer would follow the step-by-step process on the mobile application to guide him/her through the CPR process.
Animated instructions to show rescuers how to position hands for chest compression,
the instructions will be shown depending on the profile selected by the rescuer.

An animation would be looped to illustrate how chest compression is done.
The glove is synced with the mobile app, where the numbers would count down whenever a chest compression is made.
