Design and making of a interactive replica of Detective Conan's skateboard. The skateboard can be ridden to control a virtual tour of the home town of Gosho Aoyama, the author of the Conan comics. The video game was developed by Cosmic Lab, and the project permanently installed at the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory, Hokuei Town, Tottori Prefecture, Japan.

The skateboard was modelled using Autodesk Fusion360
Making:
The skateboard deck was hand carved out of solid oak. Body details were 3D printed with a Prusa i3 MK3 and hand finished. Motion sensors, LEDs, haptic feedback was controlled with an Arduino board, and communication with the Unity3D game was done via Midi.
