The project aimed at studying the traditional craft of KULLU SHAWLS & BORDERS and designing a contemporary/post-modern collection to help uplift the craft and sustain it for future generations.
The silhouette was derived from the Indian garment BAGHALBANDHI JACKET, and redesigned with the inspiration of GEOMETRY IN ARCHITECTURE. Emphasis was given to creative pattern cutting techniques and garment construction.
