The Common Table is a growing network that includes members of the food community and design community working to promote local food in Minnesota. Their collaboration with AIGA members lead to new ideas and actions that inspire a more holistic, just, and sustainable system for buying, selling, eating, producing and preparing food; which are the overarching themes of the state fair exhibit. The project brought on dozens of graphic designers and three writers, my focus being the themes Reduce Food Waste and Promote Food Justice.
