This show reel aims to demonstrate my abilities in composing and creating sound effects for computer games. It was produced using Logic Studio, and sound effects were either created by me using software and hardware synths, or pre-recorded samples and effects from the Logic library. It is recommended that this show reel is listened to on high quality headphones for the best experience.

Part 1: An atmospheric ambient introduction leads into the first main theme, an electro tune with various spaceships flying around the listener. First two spaceships chase one another from right to left. Next two spaceships fly overhead from front to back, followed by two spaceships flying from left to right and shooting at one another. All of these sound effects (engines and lasers) were synthesized by me. Finally, a spaceship rises in front of the listener, firing shots either side of their head, and flies away.
Part 2: An orchestral piece with military battle sound effects. All sound effects came from the Logic bank and were layered on top of each other.
Part 3: An ambient theme without any particular sound effects.
Part 4: A fast-paced orchestral piece begins. Inspired by a first person shooter, the character loads their gun as a door opens in front of them and a futuristic battle unfolds. The character runs through the battle, occasionally firing, and passes various objects such as a siren and escaping steam. At one point, a large explosion goes off nearby and temporary deafens the player - a ringing noise is heard and the sounds of the battle and music are muffled. Eventually the player makes it to the other side of the room and into an escape pod which fires up and flies away. Sounds used were a mixture of Logic sounds and my own synthesized sounds.
Part 5: A gentle orchestral piece accompanies the footsteps of someone walking through a forest in front of the listener. It builds to a powerful climax as a thunderstorm rolls overhead.
Part 6: A dreamlike ambient piece ends the showreel.
