Notre-Dame de Paris (Viollet-le-Duc)

I made this illustration on April 15th of this year, the terrible night Notre-Dame de Paris was on fire. I stood up drawing until the fire was finally extinguished and I finished the illustration.
I worked on it as a tribute to my spiritual master and ultimate art hero, the 19th century architect Monsieur Viollet-le-Duc, the man who worked during two decades restoring the greatest gothic cathedral ever built.
I also wrote this inspired by one of his many creations and imaginary monsters, the melancholy demon Le Stryge.
