Keeping Bad Company is a series of images that deal with macho attitudes both rejected by and found within punk culture. Jocks and Cops have generally always been the enemy within the subculture yet it seems a paradox exsists in the subculture. By capturing the subtleties of relationships within the punk rock community I hope to draw attention to the alpha male, masculinity competition that seems to be increasingly present in the scene. I find it quite ironic that a culture so against macho hierachies is now obliviously holding those same attitudes. It is within that tension that this body of work exsists.
