Visualization Studio
Digital media allows to see a potential that we didn’t see before in architecture, yet not to destroy it or to be provocative, but to melt in it, immerse in it, and get affected by it.
“Kissing is a lovely way to describe a contemporary architectural performance”.

A kissing phenomenon, as Sylvia Lavin would describe in her book Kissing Architecture, could be interpret as two mediums that overlap between each other, developing an intimate friction between the two of them. There should always be a rupture between the two mediums, the new and the existing.

A kiss is what we were trying to achieve for our Fall Studio interventions, where the main focus was showing how visual techniques could affect the existing.

A kiss is what we needed: affective, yet alien.
