Whatever It Takes Campaign

The Whatever It Takes campaign is designed to empower individuals and raise awareness of the many things that can be done to combat Parkinson's Disease. While other organizations are working on a cure, the National Parkinson Foundation has a unique mission: to improve the quality of life for the estimated 1 million people with Parkinson's in the US.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a supergraphic that features over 100 icons representing individual actions that can be done to beat Parkinson's - to minimize symptoms, delay progression of the disease, or generally improve quality of life. The icons are arranged in the shape of the NPF logo - a ribbon P that is itself a symbol for Parkinson's awareness.
Each icon is drawn to mimic the ribbon style of the NPF logo, and features ways to improve quality of life through lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, care, behavior, and more.
A line of campaign merchandise was designed to feature the supergraphic without explanation, sparking discussion and leading viewers to a landing page to learn what each of the icons represents. We also designed a new online store to help NPF sell the merchandise as well as distribute valuable informational materials.
The educational landing page provides detail on all 100+ tips, with links to more information on each, as well as a series of inspirational stories.
A series of seventeen advertisements feature inspiring stories of the varied ways real individuals are beating Parkinson's in their own lives, including patients, caregivers, family members and volunteers. See them all on the campaign website (click on the thumbnails at the bottom of the landing page).
