This is a personal work about Grenfell Tower. I heard a discussion on the radio the other day about the shocking lack of progress which has been made to address the issue of flammable cladding. Across England alone 354 high-rise residential towers require their cladding to be stripped. In January this year that work began... on just one tower. That’s tens of thousands of lives still at risk. 173 private towers have still done nothing as the owners expect the government to pay for it, or the leaseholders. It seems a horrendous stand-off, two whole years since the Grenfell disaster. © Pete Reynolds
