Bay Window Design
A before and after of a window design in a residence interior project in Delhi.
The idea was to create a bay window enclosure where one could sit and relax with some storage space for keeping books underneath. This is work in progress. The view from the window will be transformed with the addition of a flowering tree in full bloom as the bay window overlooks the back garden.
The bay window design allows flexibilty to keep the patterned shutter completely closed for privacy like a traditional jaali (screen) design or partially open as required.
The pattern of the jaali shutter was inspired by the Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kerala.
