Cairo
City Rebranding and Guidelines

People contribute in building the visual culture by expressing their motives,
beliefs and how they communicate. How they illustrate it differently and freely
make the most genuine art on a canvas where we can see the diversity yet connectivity of people.

In Cairo, we have such rich culture that we see everyday yet almost never notice.
This project is inspired from the visual culture of vehicles and trucks decorated by people of Cairo.

Our palette reflects the visuals in our community and everyday life made by our people in their most genuine moments where they get to express who they are and what their habitat looks like.

Our imagery always shows the atmosphere of where our
inspiration came from. It has the fast rhythm of life, the vibrant colors of lights
and the people within this context. how they go to work,
how they celebrate and most importantly their vision.

The shapes and forms seen everyday build our visual identity, our
library is always up for adding new elements to the identity.

Our graphical elements is built with basic geometric shapes, combined to make more complex forms. All the elements are inspired from the environment of vehicles decorations in Cairo.

Each element consists of units that can be rebuilt into a new element.
