I make tourism maps that attract visitors to recreational and urban locations. Each is a custom map, unique to the client.

Location map for Sylva and Jackson County, North Carolina. Terrain plays a big role in the tourism of this area. We played up the terrain in this image, built from digital data and painted with custom colors.

A map created for designer April Grieman (http://aprilgreiman.com). The map was used in a project for SCI-Arc, the architecture school. This custom map uses a technique in Adobe Illustrator to visually knock out the center between the two lines symbolizing freeways.

Produced for the Arizona Office of Tourism (https://tourism.az.gov), the ACERT map bolsters tourism to natural and recreational sites and to cultural and historical locations. It was built from federal and state agency data. 

The Arlington Convention and Visitors Service (https://www.stayarlington.com) asked us to make a map focused on the hotels and attractions in Arlington and adjoining Washington, D.C. The map was made for their visitor guide and for tear-off pads distributed to hotels.
