This is a photo-book I created as part of my course, 'The City in Photography'. It explores surveillance in the city, looking at the kinds of security features residents install in their homes. The book is divided into chapters, each chapter is accompanied by a poem that explains the photography. This also explores the idea of 'Thirdspace', a concept from urban theory that creates or starts to create a space within the city outside of what we see on a daily basis.
