Kelp-Weave Card Holder

The card holder design is simple and classic; it can take 4-8 cards, and fits into the average trouser pocket. The design is based on a card holder I saw online made from leather. The reason I chose to base the design on this is that my material is very like leather in many ways.

The card holder is made up of 7 panels of kelp-weave. 2 small panels, both around 7.5x7.5cm, form the pockets around the top two cards. The sides of these two panels are cut away at an angle. The next two panels are the same size without the cut away areas. The back panel is around 15cm wide and 10.5cm long. This is the panel that all the other panels are sewn onto. Finally, the 7th panel is the backing; this panel is the exact same size as the others but this one is there purely to neaten everything else up by hiding all the other seams.
